Your data, plainly.
This site collects as little as it can. Here is exactly what, why, and what you can ask for.
Who is responsible
Lindström Marketing & Media (enskild firma — a Swedish sole trader), run by August Lindström, Stockholm, Sweden, is the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: lindstrommarketingandmedia@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
- The project form. Your company, name, email, the scope you picked and the notes you write. I use them to reply to you and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- The newsletter signup. Your email address, used only to send the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Email you send me directly. Handled the same way as the project form.
- Visitor statistics. Counted with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores no personal data — only totals such as page views and referring sites.
- Currency. To show prices in SEK or EUR, the site looks up your country from your connection at the moment you load the page. It is not stored. If you pick a currency yourself, that choice is saved in your browser so it sticks; you can clear it any time by clearing site data.
The site uses no cookies and no advertising trackers, and I never sell or share your data for marketing.
How long I keep it
- Project enquiries that don't turn into work: deleted 12 months after our last contact.
- If we work together: kept for as long as the assignment needs, and invoices and related records for seven years, as Swedish bookkeeping law (bokföringslagen) requires.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Who else handles it
A few service providers process data on my behalf, under data-processing terms:
- Netlify, Inc. — hosts the site and stores form submissions (USA).
- Google LLC — Gmail, where form notifications and our emails arrive (USA).
- Plausible Insights OÜ — cookieless visitor statistics (EU; no personal data).
Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, get it in a portable format, and withdraw consent — just email me and I'll respond within a month. If you think I've got something wrong, you can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
